Galerie is designed to be simple and private. This policy describes what data the app accesses and how it is used. The short version: your photos stay on your device, and analytics data we collect does not include personally identifiable information.
Photo Library
Galerie requests read-only access to your photo library in order to display your photos as a slideshow. The app does not upload, transmit, modify, or share your photos or any information derived from them. All access occurs entirely on your device.
Data We Collect
No account is required to use Galerie. We do not collect your name, email address, photo library contents, or other personally identifiable information.
We do collect limited usage analytics to understand app quality and feature usage. This includes technical and aggregate data such as app version, device model, operating system version, locale, and session activity.
Third-Party Services
Galerie uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics provider, to process limited app analytics on our behalf. We configure analytics so that personally identifiable information is not included in analytics signals.
Analytics are used only to improve reliability and usability. We do not use analytics for advertising, profiling, or selling personal data.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction and can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy .
Children's Privacy
Galerie does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
